Thanks for subscribing, although I identify myself as atheist so I will more likely than not disagree with most postings on revelife.
This is a new experience for me... 'thinking' to the group via posting. I'm not sure where to begin.
I'm saddened by the loss of your friend in the swimming accident. The mysteries of life's events will be more clear, hopefully later. Many of our paths are only supposed to be visible until the next 'bend in the stream.' We do what we can to make the best choices from what we are aware of and go from there.
I often go to "oneplace dot com" and listen to messages while I do the paperwork on my job. I have greatly expanded my knowledge of viewpoints interpreting scripture. It has also deepened my commitment. Next I want to be able to share and discuss and lead people toward making their own choice in asking Christ to be their personal savior.
"Beadedskyz" is what my artwork involves... making seedbead 'pictures' on a bead loom. My subject matter of preference are clouds and skyscapes.

I believe in peace, but I don't believe in a vengeful god. Actually, when you read the Old Testament, THE LORD comes off as a very cruel, selfish spirit.

in my area, a whole bunch of churches are closing (on bishop's orders).
i want opininons on it. should we be allowed to keep our church open if we can afford it? if a priest is willing to serve 2 chruches? why does rome make the decisions?
