@CharZie89@xanga - The Bible is not a religion....it's the word of
God. i encourage everyone to at least read the freaking book before
making the choice that it's not true, you might find out that the
rumors, concerning the Bible, you hear from your science teachers are
untrue. i have been thinking a lot about Einstein recently... A few
quotes from Albert concerning religion... "My religion consists of a
humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals
himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail
and feeble mind." "Science without religion is lame, religion without
science is blind." "At any rate, i am convinced that HE [God] does not
    play dice."

It's good to see a place that encourages others to "think outside the box" they claimed as their belief/religion, into a personal relationship instead.  No better place to be :)

thanks for spreading these wonderful stories. I mean, If Harry Potter is my religion, that means he's many times cooler than christianity, because he has 7 books, instead of 1 fucking old one.

I have to admit myself to rushing into print and commenting ignorantly on Revelifes good intentions.Sincere apologies.

I think the purpose of this and many other chat boards is to bridge the loneliness gap and realise we are all subject to muddled thinking, even in "spiritual" exploration.

As this media lends itself to shedding all inhibitions it makes us vulnerable as we inadvertently release our inner self with all its contradictions.

So its a form of growth to maturity when we realise all the dross we have carried about so we conform daily more towards the image of Jesus. He  who alone can represent our inner self and transform us ,sometimes very suddenly but most often through our daily walk and promptings of the Holy Spirit.

    LOL.

what is the point of this chat board.Im a christain and im not here to start any trouble.but i see no real meaning for this to be a christain chat bored no q&a going on about christ no ones questions getting answered.

Im not in a certain group of christains meaning im not baptist or mormon i follow the bible and the words in it.To many politics go into being a certain group.and it tarnishes the word of god.

@BiblicalTruth2@xanga - I agree with you.  I've had a couple of my posts edited a bit, because they weren't popular views, but it was true stuff...

Does Revelife seem to be less friendly to Christians? I see some athiests here with an axe to grind. Others seem more accepting.

  • BiblicalTruth2@xanga
I wonder do you allow biblical based posts that post ideas that are biblically based but outside the mainstream, or just stories with "moral" messages and lightly religous stuff that almost deals with bible verses?

I see a trend of socially normative topics without addressing true issues and hard ideas presented in scripture.

No discussion of what Jesus said other then "love one another", no look at the God Jesus served, who called Himself "I AM", or is that too "cultish" too much like JW's, or honest discussions about Jesus' divinity too Mormon, or too liberal. Is discussing what Jesus and the God the Father believed about divorce is too conversative? Are you about discussing the truth, or about discussing popular topics?

This consistant dose of fluff is what is atrophing the brains of modern christians. Can we deal with important issues without PC police knocking down the doors? But instead of "speech police" like 1984, we find the people polici

Hi, I’m Roman Catholic and I was going to become a priest but it was not so, married with six children. I don’t believe in euthanasia, stem cell research, abortion, divorce, gay marriages for these sins are contra natura, gene546.
