  • So much for being gone...

So yeah before I left my most recent blog I left a comment on a blog on datingish about sex and such and have been getting tons of footprints from it. Maybe the idea that two adult virgins together in a relationship without sex mystifies the masses?

None the less I probably won't do updating unless absolutely necessary, but I will be stopping by every now and then to see comments and what antics Paige has gotten into with her blog...

  • No more xanga for me...

I will no longer be on this xanga site (although I will leave it online and not close in case someone wants to read a past post for some reason or another) but if you wish to know what I'm up to check me out at

    www.thebereanlife.com

This is my new personal website/ ministry that I'm launching. If you want to know more about it or what have you just visit the site and peruse around. I have a blog on the site so I will still be blogging if you must know what I'm thinking about. I hope to hear from you all, and perhaps speak at your church soon.

  • Yep, Im back, now on to more pressing issues...

    Hey everyone =)

Yeah its been about 5 months since I last blogged. What have I been up to?

Well actually alot. In the next couple of months I will be making some very important decisions regarding relationships and my ministerial calling. I'm scared to death, but I know this is the path that God is calling me towards.

Alright, so I'm going to list this off in bulletin points as if Im writing a sermon...

    • Check out my new blog (www.revelife.com/thebereanlife). This is roughly a test for what I feel led to do. If you have any questions about the purpose of The Berena Life just ask =)
    • It's amazing how much you hate something until you actually hear the truth about it. People don't hate a certain thing, they hate what they think they know about this certain thing.
    • Tuesday the nature of this country will change. I hope people don't sell their souls to save some tax money. Yeah, you have cheaper taxes, but if this country has to lose its morality to gain it, whats the friggin point?
    • As I read some of the blogs from datingish it is almost amazing to see how many people think that sex before marriage with one or multiple partners is a good idea. They scoff, 'I wouldn't buy a car without test driving it, hahaha." Hold up, when you "test drive" that car you are 60% more likely to get divorced then those who drive their car for the first time as they take it off the lot.

  • What has happened to our once Godly society

Taken from an article off of MSN.com

Sign #1: There's no September. If your new guy is tentative about discussing the future (as in, autumn), he may consider your situation to be strictly casual. That said, most budding relationships focus on the present rather than the future, because you're both figuring out if it's worth pursuing. So don't read too much into this one sign.

Sign #2: What friends? You and your new love are an island. You haven't met each other's social circle, and for now, you're cool with that. Yes, you have him all to yourself - great! But from a man's standpoint, sequestering you makes it very convenient for him to terminate your affair when it reaches its use-by date, which he may have predetermined.

Sign #3: It's a one-track bond. Let's just say you wouldn't classify your current union as a meeting of the minds. In fact, while you totally dig each other's action between the sheets, you rarely connect when your clothes are on. This affair will burn fast and bright, so enjoy your lusty tryst. Just don't mistake hot sex for a growing romance if it's clear your chemistry is all about the booty.

    Oh my stinkin gosh...

Does anyone want to take a stab at explaining our overly sexualized culture...

    weren't they smokin'?? hahaha!!
  • notall_wanderers_arelost@xanga
Thank you! And it is definitely true...after seeing something like that growing up, I will definitely work that much harder to make sure it never happens with my family in the future.
  • notall_wanderers_arelost@xanga
Meh, I think my vote is with the man who said I had nice jugs. At least the old man from the doc's office can blame his little wardrobe malfunction on dementia...the man at Longs was just being ridiculous by nature.
  • notall_wanderers_arelost@xanga
    Yep! Chevelle's the best!

It depends on what you decide to use religion for.
