People have been saying the end times are near because of certain "signs" for so long now (literally thousands of years) that the claim is almost impossible to take seriously. Until people start finding better reasons than every previous doomsday cult, I can't help but dismiss them completely.

The end times???

Numerous scientific advances have been made that now make the predictions of Revelation actually possible to be fulfilled. Revelation 4-19 is about the events known as the Tribulation that occur after the Church has departed at a time, in all likelihood, that neither Islam nor the United States are in the forefront. There are abundant signs given to warn us of the approach of the Second Coming of Christ. There are no signs given to alert us as to the timing of the Rapture of the Church. That can happen at any time as soon as the number or persons composing the Bride of Christ has been completed. The purpose of the Rapture isn't to give us a way to escape the Tribulation; it's simply the end of the Church age.

As to the timing of the rapture or when the Tribulation will begin, no one can really know, but if you subscribe to the year for a day theory and that the Day of the Lord is 1,000 years, then the "Day of Man" is 6,000 years... timing it from the creation of Adam. According to the Jewish Calendar, this is year 5773 A.M. so there are 220 years left before the Tribulation begins by that reckoning.

@Captric@xanga - Ya know, that's a funny point you bring up. I had heard that Jesus is the King of the Jews and yet (to my understanding) the Jewish Religion doesn't believe in Jesus or celebrate Christmas and his Birthday and junk ? How does that work ? Φ ≡

It is not so hard the to see that we have gone through 6000 years. But also we should try and understand that mans live for own rule will be 6000 years from the first sin, when man became mortal and thus God said that mans live would be 120 x 50 (jubilee) years. Then after this there will be a thousand year rule by Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Jesus made it very clear to say it would be like in the days of Noah. Most people did not believe him (Noah) and only him and his family were saved.

Daniels timeline says very clearly that from the going forth of the commandment to restore Jerusalem there would be 70 years. From 1947-1948 plus seventy years = 2017-2018 and that Jesus would come back a year earlier 2016-2017 (end of 2016).  There are then also many places in the bible where His coming is shown like an old Jewish wedding and thus we have the last 3 Jewish festivals that needs to be fulfilled just as Jesus Himself fulfilled the first 4 Jewish festivals.

The six day war in Israel was an mirror image of the creation week and the signal for the last jubilee year to start. From 5 June 1967 to 5 Jun 2017. So He declared the the end through giving it to us at the beginning.

A complete and real man is one that excepts Jesus as his savior and his Lord above all other. And the only way a man can be perfect is by giving his own will to the Father and listen and obey every word from the Father.  This is why Jesus said " Man shall not live by bread and water alone, but by every word of the Father." Anyone that will not do this is in rebellion with ALL THERE IS. For everything was created by Him and without Him nothing would exist.

Anyone that does not head Jesus's words will be under a delusion and will believe all the other lies.
