Trusting God in Times of Trouble
Yes, it is easy to praise God if we are just receiving good news from Him and if He answered our prayers, but what if He allows disappointments, sickness and challenges, to happen in our lives? Do we have still the same faith in Him like before?
What if our dreams unexpectedly eroded? Will we become a miserable loser? Or will we be a victorious over-comer? What if our hopes and ambitions seem gradually broken down? Do we still praise and accept God? Do we still say “Praise the Lord?” Do we still raise our hands to worship Him? Are we still available to communicate with Him in prayers? Will we be still on fire in His presence? Will we be still singing songs of praise for Him? Will we be still holding on to His promises? Will we be still standing in front of the crowd to testify the goodness of the Lord?I may not understand now why sometimes God didn't answer our prayers but only one thing I know is certain.
Jesus Christ loves me. He promised me that He will never leave me nor forsake me wherever I go! I will praise Him not just in good times and in blessings but especially in moments of trouble and the storms of my life.
And the greatest test of faith is when you don't get what you want, but still you are able to say "Thank you, Lord."When has trusting God been difficult? Have you ever been willing to praise God during times of trouble? When has God kept His promise to never leave you or forsake you?

I think trusting God is almost always difficult. We are all sinners and think we know best, so when God takes something or someone away that we believe we deserve it hurts and it is hard to believe there is something better and He has his hand in it. We wonder why He lets our hearts break. Trusting God is a choice every day, just like love.
Trusting God was hugely difficult after leaving the church of my birth, the LDS church, and I still find myself upset when people tell stories about it that are incorrect. It was more painful to be asked to leave a baptist church after 8 years when one of my so called friends went to the pastor and told him I was a democrat. The mormons would have never done that, and I spent weeks in bed, depressed, as we'd spent much time in finding that church and making what we thought were good friends. I bounced back with a presbyterian church that had a choir to die for, something fundamentalists don't do anymore, and although I have questions about one or two issues, I find God's presence with me in allowing me to question and be confirmed in my faith of him. Yes, it was hard to praise God after being humiliated and asked to leave, and my husband was furious, suggesting we simply pray at home and do without church. And then the loss of my income to three autoimmune disorders on top of my bipolar problem. But God has never left, always seen me through, always helped me find my own way out of issues. God is real, and without him, I would be nothing.
I do believe God allows the bad for good. It's a test of our faith..will we trust and love when things good bad? It's discipline and purifies us. Hebrews 12, James 1 helped me in times of struggle. I have been tested greatly this year. I am 28 and found out I was adopted, got into 2 car crashes, lost my brother, have had troubles in my relationship and persecuted for being a devoted Christian from my niece and mom (they are catholic). So do I still trust God..yes! I believe through this hardship, when I persevere I will save myself and my hearers 2 Timothy 4:16. Bad things happen, and we can't control it, but we can control our actions and choose to follow God and trust that he'll help us get through it. :)

Of course we all have our hardships when it comes to god I know that I hate having to trust that things are always going to work in his hands at times I do however believe that God will help me even though for me it's hard bc I have struggled a lot
