• Finding Joy

  

  There's nothing like playing in puddles, or just being plain goofy. This is something I have to remind myself of regularly. Life has it's own issues, with it's own level of stress. We have to find that Joy in what we do -- and in who we are.

  This may mean taking a break from those serious things surrounding ourselves, and running in a puddle...

  ... or watching a funny movie

  ... or finding a youtube video that strikes a humorous chord.

  Whatever you need to take a break, remember that joy is found when you let go of the stress and realize that it's not your issue to deal with.

  Here's some thoughts for today.

  • Matthew 6:34 NIV - "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
  • Psalm 16:11 NIV - "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
  • Romans 12:12 NIV - "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
