Christians need to release themselves from the Satanic lie that if you have good intentions that you are doing the right thing (Prov 12:15, Prov 21:2, Judges 17:6, Duet 12:8).
God determines what is right, not man (Duet 13:18, I Kings 11:33, I Kings 15:5 & 11). Not even the church can decide what is right (I Chron 13:4).
What any one person or the collective decides is right is not correct and truthful unless it agrees with what is true and what YHWH says is right -- even if that collective is the church. God is the God of truth, and accepting lies as truth is not YHWH's way -- it is Lucifer's.
Do you agree or disagree? Do you think that, if you have good intentions, you're doing the right thing? When have you had the right intentions but done the wrong thing? How can we know what is good and right?

I think it's hard to answer this question in a way that is black and white.
There was a time when I tried to consistently asked my friend who had stopped going to church for a while to start coming back again. I would call or text once a week. Later on I found that he was more turned off by insistence and that he wanted space especially because he wasn't someone I saw on a normal basis. I would say my intentions were good and the method was wrong. That doesn't make the act of my inviting him right or wrong.
Granted, you're probably referring to more radical things that Christians do to cover up their messes by touting the excuse of good intentions. What kind of acts are you talking about?
Proverbs 12:15 refers to heeding wisdom, and I believe that if you make a choice with good intentions and are proven it was wrong, then making the right choice next time it is good enough. I believe the scripture you presented supports the cliche of "learning from your mistakes" and is not a vilification of acts with good intentions that might be wrong.
Truth is truth , and is it acts or beliefs... it is both, for acts come from belief, incorrect beliefs begat incorrect actions... For example believing that God will forgive you no matter what leads to little restraint on personal behavior (see the majority of the bible belt... which I live in).. Big things start small... the acceptance of falsehood as unimportant, or we can agree to disagree without striving for the truth leads to the gradual acceptance of more and more error, the church excepts what was once paganism because the church has accepted it for so long it is either deemed "sanctified" by time, or no longer important because of the facts formerly pagan ideas and ideals are not viewed as pagan today , modern christian holidays are prime examples of this (Easter, Christmas have pagan roots as they are celebrated today [easter- Isthar, Christmas-Dec 25th Sun deity])
God is who decides what is right, and has never condoned the impurity of the modern church, recently a book was written called "Pagan Christianity" and the response by the church was largely a yawn.... i wonder if when we pray YHWH yawns too
