Strong in Toungue, Weak in Faith
By Sam at Creative TheologyThen Jesus said to them, All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered. But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.
Peter answered and said to Him, 'Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.'
Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
Peter said to Him, Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!
I often relate with the Peter we see in moments such as these throughout scripture.
Strong in tongue, weak in faith.
This is a part of a series of daily reflections on the season of Lent.

Good Post,
So the issue is really this: How do we build faith. We build faith according to the Apostle Paul by the hearing the word of God. We hear the word of God from Pastors and Preachers. We also hear the word of God from radio Evangelists and Preachers. We might hear the word of God on TV but we must be carefull holding their teaching accountable to what the bible actually says. We go as the Holy Spirit leads us, as teh Holy Spirit teaches us, comforts us. There are some Good Shepherds out there, on TV. David Jeremiah, Joseph Prince, Joel Osteen. Way of the Master, Kirk Cameron. Dr vermon McGee with his Thru the Bible radio program. Charles Stanley is good. There are many many more. But by far most importatnt is for you to hear yourself read the bible silently as you read scripture meditating on its truth, Romans 10:9-17.
God Bless,
