There have been a number of videos circling online social networks and blogs about Jesus, religion, God, Christians, and all the stuff that goes in between and reaches beyond. Most popular of them is one about loving Jesus and hating religion. But that's so last week so here's a spoken word video about the Gospel.
I think it's done really well. Nothing is ever perfect of course. There's more to the story but that's fine. This artists presents the gospel message (with an emphasis on atonement) in a helpful way. It's simple, it's beautiful, and the dead has some sweet dreadlocks. If this went viral, there might be less controversy, which means it's probably not going to be as viral as some recent videos.
For now, it's in front of you. So give it 4 minutes and check it out if you feel so inclined.
What is your reaction to this video? Do you think it hits the mark? What else would you add about the gospel?
Overall it was a very good video. The part about the Tiger seemed to wrinkle the flow a little but maybe only because I am not in the target audience. I only think I understand it. If the aim is to move certain people off the fence and closer to God, it may do that since it was done respectfully requesting they listen through to the end. Congratulations.
