God is Jealous for You
I was singing that song, "How He loves" and thought about telling you this:God is jealous FOR you.
Not jealous, as in selfish, but jealous meaning He cares for you!
When bad things happen to people, He doesn't want those things to happen. He created us with the best in store for us.
He wants you to pay attention to Him, because He loves you.
He does not want you to live a life that leaves you living less than joyful.
That does not mean our troubles will disappear, but it means that we are not alone, and that one day they will disappear forever.
We have hope in our trials and hard times. A hope that will never fade with time.
Your life means so much to Him, that He chose to send His Son, who lived(s) with Him in heaven, to come down to earth and be like us, to carry our sins and burdens, to the Cross -- and He resurrected! It's very clear He did in the Bible -- so that those who choose to follow Him would be saved from their sin.
Even though me mess up, or fail Him, or sin, we have hope to change it in Christ.
To let it go and keep moving forward, He forgets our sin and looks at us as clean, because of Jesus. He helps you change your ways, so that whatever it is that is distracting you from Him will be perfected by Him as we keep following Him.
He wants you to be with Him.
What we may think is the right way, or good for us, may not be, because He knows where it will lead us.
You are very important to Him, and He made you with a plan and a purpose, and for a reason. Others may not see it, they may treat you wrong, but He won't, and He does see. He understands you, and He will never let you go or leave you.
Give me your heart
I will not let you go
I will remind you WHO I am.
"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I shall give you rest."
- Matthew 11:28
What does it mean to have a jealous God? Have you ever felt his jealousy over you?

You are exactly right. We can do all things through Christ, but without Christ we are nothing.
God gives us a freedom. So he let us do what we want. But he always protects us and believes us.We can not live without his love.
I love this. So much.
