Daily Prayers on Twitter
On twitter, I've been collating daily prayers.It's just a little something that I have been doing invariably to remind me of something that I could be remembering throughout the day. It's almost a daily ritual to write down what it is from the day that I want to commit to memory, and unpack what has happened throughout the day. Moreover, it's one of many ways of putting the pen to the page as to what I have been struggling with, and what I am aiming for.
Today, I have nothing to write about, nor do I have the time to write anything of substance for the next week or so, I predict. For these reasons, I just thought I would share the words that I've been tweeting with y'all tonight:
Today I am praying for less rashly said words, and more silence, that God may speak through me clearer. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for greater love and peace over lesser fear and doubt. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for more humiliation and shame to myself, and greater glory and majesty shown to Christ. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for more positivity in my life. That light may shine in a dark place, as Christ came onto this world. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for more sleep in my life, that I may have eyes awakened to the simple graces around me. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for less empty words and thoughtless mutterings, and greater action and change in this world. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for more positivity in my life. That light may shine in a dark place, as Christ came onto this world. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying that my words would be more encouraging like a jackhammer on the soul and not discouraging like a sword to the heart. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for less fear of things to come, and greater readiness for the end. #dailyprayer #notmay21
Today I am praying for less malice and harshness, but greater knowledge that I myself am a sinner too. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying for less and less trust in Calvinism or Arminianism, and greater trust in Jesus. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying to forget what lies behind, so as to be constantly reaching forward to what lies ahead. #dailyprayer
Today I am praying for less regrets in things I cannot change and greater trust in and knowledge of God’s sovereignty. #dailyprayer
Today, I am praying that my leaves would wither more and more, so as to seek and wait more for the Living Water. #dailyprayer #psalms62v1
Today, I am praying to be proven wrong more and more, so as to rejoice in other’s triumphs. #dailyprayer

I love that you said "y'all".
Hmm good questions. The things I usually ask God to help me with daily are my anxiteties that God deliver me from them... and.. I usually pray for the desires of my heart? lol... or at least not to desire those things so I can be thankful for where I am now instead of unhappy about what I don't have..
But I think that daily prayer thing on twitter is good because it keeps people God centered :)

@findtheghost@xanga - Those are definitely good things too, I am anxious about so much about a multitude of things. Idk, even tweeting about those things, I feel such a positivity in committing it to God, even if I don't grow in those areas in those ways that day--it's a relief to anxiety to trust everything to Jesus.
