Whats Your Favorite Creative Outlet?
By Sam at Creating Culture
My favorite creative outlet is writing. Growing up, I wrote poems to express what I was feeling. I wrote crazy stories because, well, crazy stories were always in my head.In school, I began to work on the craft of writing – learning all the rules so I could then break them in my own writing. I started to blog as an effort to get my thoughts out of my head and create conversations with people who were dealing with similar things.
My question for you is:
What’s your creative outlet of choice?

Writing, art, music . . . and occasional dancing. Writing letters to my girlfriend helps me passed the time of loneliness until she arrives here at the end of May.
For me it would be writing and recording my podcasts. It allows me to express myself in a variety of ways. Check me out and tell me what you think by visiting www.thebmillerexperience.com/podcast. I even do a gospel show that I write and record on Sundays over at www.blogtalkradio.com/thepraiseparty
I'm an author/writer, singer, actress, make up artist, jewelry designer -

Writing, absolutely, no contest. I go in phases - sometimes I need to write short stories, or long stories that I never finish. I get into poetry crazes and Spanish poetry crazes and writing little ditties.
It will never be anything else. God gave me a writer's heart :]

Dance and playing clarinet, yeah! And hats off to you, I super admire creative writers. Superbly.
Writing stories, playing the piano, or drawing. It just clears my head.
singing and music, definitely. it's great because when you sing you can just soak up the music and become a part of it. it's unexaplainably cathartic.

Writing. Poetry and I've had a xanga in which I've used as a journal since I was 11-12 and before that I've always had some sort of diary.
Writing and playing guitar. :)
Writing, most certainly. Music as well, but only as much as sound waves can soothe a soul. When it comes to pouring out the contents of my heart, my pen is my instrument.
