• A New Years Letter from God

  I created this letter from YHVH (G-d) using scriptures from the Holy Scriptures of YHVH
  
  Dear Child,
  
  As you move into this New Year I know the plans I have for you and they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.(a)
  
  In my great mercy I have given you new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of  my son from the dead. (b) You are in Christ, you are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (c) I have sprinkled clean water on you, and you are clean. Your filth is washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I gave you a new heart with new and right desires, and I put a new spirit in you. I took out your stony heart of sin and gave you a new, obedient heart. And I put my Spirit in you so you will obey my laws and do whatever I command. (d)
  
  Your father may have disciplined you for a little while as he thought best; but as this New year unfolds I may discipline you for your good, that you may share in my holiness. I want you to to know that no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but it is painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace if you have been trained by it.(e)
  
  Be still in the my presence, and wait patiently for me to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.(f) Those who wait for me will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.(g) I have made everything beautiful in its time. I have also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what I have done from beginning to end. (h) Remember my child that my unfailing love never ends! By my mercies you have been and will be kept from complete destruction. Great is my faithfulness; my mercies begin afresh each day -- you can say to yourself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, you can have hope in me!" (i)
  
  Forget the past, my child, and look forward to what lies ahead, strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which I, through my son, am calling you up to heaven.(j)
