  • See What Happens When God Flows Through You!

See What Happens When God Flows Through You! God is more than the nice feeling you get in church.
I can get that same feeling by going to a love concert of Celine Dion!

God is more than a bible preaching...
I can find understanding, truth, and wisdom when going to school!

God is more than a bible reading!
I can read the bible from cover to cover, and like it or dislike it, just like I would like or dislike, and can learn from a book!

God is more than a sticker; a name you paste on yourself... like I'm a 'Christian'; or a specific religion you follow!
Muslims also have a sticker, and so do Catholics, and Mormons, and Baptists and Hindu's, and Buddhists!

A relationship with God is more than just knowing about,or having heard of God.

It is a daily thing! It matters! It's a relationship...
And just like a relationship does not last without interaction, so faith does not last without interaction with God.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God.
The worst kind of faith is the faith in evil; believing in fear...
just like believing or having faith in someone else's lies. Faith in God is better than that!

Faith could be believing in someone's truth! Perhaps Panda bears do exist, though you never saw them in real life before! Perhaps the universe truly is infinite!
But the faith that comes from God is more than this!

Faith could come by hearing of the word of God, but the word of God is 'logos'; and 'logos' (or the letter) kills!
It can teach you good things about God, but the true faith we need to look for is those words that make something 'click' in our minds!

Faith in God comes by hearing a direct revelation of God!
If God is so real, then He wants to talk to you!
    Directly!

And for all believers everywhere, if they follow that small voice in theirhearts, they will be able to discern God's true voice over deception!

Every believer on this earth has the potential to hear directly from God,because it is God who talks to all; He does the talking, we need to do the listening!

I miss my friends! The people who could hear a 'NOW' word of God! A fresh revelation of God!
It seems that all the people around me have fallen into a deep sleep...
A sleep they don't seem to be oblivious of..
A sleep that blinds them, and closes their ears to hear God.

    Ask yourself this question:
"If God truly is here, how would His heart be? What would His thoughts ponder about? And what would matter most to God right now?"

If you don't know the answer to that, then there's work to do for you!

God wants every believer to hear from Him.

Prophecies that are inaccurate are often limited due to our sinful nature.
When we get right with God, a process that more than often takes years andyears of perfecting, we will see a fruit grow in us, that will bringforth something good!

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all (the rest) shall be added unto thee"

A process of purification and sanctification is necessary to hear more from God; so that in the right time, you will bear fruit!

As a young kid I often saw spiritual harvest and sowing seasons in a mechanical way...
As a young kid I had the feel of mechanics, and often could translate a variety of skills and daily things to mechanics!

I always imagined 3 wheels rotating at about the same speed on an axis; very slow.
The first wheel represented the realm of the emotions.
As I went to church, loved God, and got all excited in His presence, that first wheel would rotate very fast!
But as soon as the service was over, it would wind down, and often by the next day I'd feel the same, or worse than before.., so the wheel would rotate at the same speed as before.

But there where times, when I exerted myself to get into God, pray, seek Him, and grow!
The second wheel was the wheel of prayer, and what I would have called the 'self anointing'.
As I got excited, and during the week held my personal prayer time, andsought after God almost day and night, I could not help but be continuously excited about God!
In my vision I saw that because the first wheel was rotating fast, almost continuously!
The second wheel caught some of the wind that the first wheel was generating, and slowly started to accelerate too!
The longer I was in God's presence enjoying, loving, praying; the longer I remained excited, and the faster the first wheel would rotate!
As the second wheel started to rotate too, gaining momentum, I felt God led me in my prayers!

All of a sudden I would pray for things that would happen! Or God led me to understand things in a different dimension!
People around me would notice that, and would enjoy the blessings from being around 'a man of God'....
I just simply enjoyed the Lord, and enjoyed what He was doing in my life!

In my vision the third wheel represented something I find hard to explain.
The third wheel would function just like the second one, but would be propelled by the wind it caught of the second wheel.
When I saw the third wheel rotating (which I saw very few times in my life), things would start to happen!
    Small wonders and miracles!
When I would need something, God would provide!

I can best describe the third wheel as the anointing for the world around me!
I would pray the same as before, but things would happen! Most of the time I would be unaware if not a bit taken aback by the responses ofthe people around me!
It where people's responses that at times made me realize what God was doing around me!.Other times, I would sense God very strongly!

Once I saw the second (and third) wheel where rotating in my vision, it was much harder for me to get less excited about Him!
Often for a period of months I would think about God nearly continuously, and pray very very very frequently!
It was as if the first wheel (of excitement) could stop right after leaving a great meeting, but the second and third would still be inmotion (slowly slowing down)...

I know I described a rather awkward vision, but to me it described very accurately how the spiritual seasons and blessings operate!
Many Christians I knownever experience what it is to truly break through things in prayer, and the best they ever get is having a service where they "get on fire"for the Lord, but if you talk to them two days later, they are back with their feet in the world!

Even many pastors and pastoralministers, priests, and preachers and teachers in the church, many times only experience a small time in their life that God gives them that personal anointing; in my vision see that second wheel turning.

I honestly have seen very few people in my life who have operated in that third wheel rotation or anointing.
Usually pioneers, and true apostles who leave everything to go and bang the heavens with prayers for the souls of the nations, operate in that, and for the season they are in ministry often continuously operate in it!
It are often those individuals that are a serious threat to the enemy, and they get bombarded with things we can not even imagine!

Death threats, being an apostle/man of God and losing everything, including your wealth, finances, and family; having your partner or spouse cheaton you, go through a divorce, getting beat up, stoned,....crucified...

Lucky I've never seen anyone crucified, but we all know the apostle Peter, who did; and just about any other of the 10 disciples of Jesus!

Spiritual seasons are different from earth's!
    They last longer.

On earth a tree grows fruit every summer.
In the spirit, as you grow, you continuously bring forth fruit, but before the fruit is mature, often many years of development are needed!
To be spiritual fruitful, comes from years and years of walking and following in close footsteps after the Lord.

In my life I've seen two steps:
As an unbeliever turns to Christ, Christ comes and lives in him, and for a while this individual will be living a life in close fellowship and resemblance of Jesus; often being a better example of Christianity than their older brothers and sisters who have been with the Lord for years!

Then a time comes where the individual needs to learn to walk with Jesus. Most often this is where people turn with their feet back into the world where they feel they can grow "their own kingdom" faster...
Not knowing that this is their preparation time, wasting their time...

I am in that season now! I can decide to waste my time, or try to cultivate it why God made me!

In this time nothing matters, but to seek to continuously live close to God, so your character can be hardened, that you may become like Jesus, and thus more like God

"For He created them in His image"

Often unknowingly to the person, in this season God is weeding out the weeds.
Creating His kingdom in you, so you may carry it to the world!

Almost like God is creating a little garden of Eden in your heart; that by the time you are ready to speak, no selfish ambition may stand in the way between God, and the work He wants to accomplish through you!

God wants all to hear His voice. He also wants all to speak and understand heavenly languages! Because all GOOD comes and is through one HolySpirit, and spoken by one God!
There's really not that much difference between a teacher, evangelist, prophet, apostle, pastor, shepherd,...or just a regular believer!
When they can hear their God, and "know the voice of their shepherd", they will be able to function under all offices. Because they will be able to translate God's words to a non-believer like an evangelist or prophet, to the church like an apostle, to the congregation like a teacher or preacher, and to their friends and themselves as themselves!

But it all starts with seeking His kingdom AND his righteousness in our own hearts and in our families. So that years from now we might see the fruit of our labor!

    What is your reaction?

I'm not sure, but I think what you are describing is to some degree dealt with by Paul in Romans 8:26-28 [MSG]; "Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along.  If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.  He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and KEEPS US PRESENT BEFORE GOD. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good."

When Jesus' good friend, Lazarus died, his sisters met Jesus with the 'If only you HAD been here' mindset--'If you had been here, Lazarus would not have died.'  Jesus' response to their grief was; "I AM the resurrection and the life."  Both Mary & Martha were living in the past and the future---'I know he WILL rise again in the last day.'  But Jesus called them to live in the present  where He is. And that is what He calls us to do today---not to live in the past (of hurts & triumphs we have experienced) or the future (some day heaven is coming), but to live in the present  with God. This is what is called 'living the presence of God' in our lives and it is in this condition that the power of   God begins to flow and accomplish what He wants to accomplish in, through and for us!

Our God is the ever-present God in our time of need!   Ps.46:1                     LAW--

This is an EXCELLENT post!! Great job!!!

I just wrote a post about two days ago, in fact, that summed up a lot of what you said. It will be in December's Heartbeat magazine.

I have heard these two words all month now..."experience God" in wondering why some, even our church members, seem to be spiritually dead or asleep. And when I have pondered why, I kept hearing those two words. About 8 years ago, I realized to truly get in touch with God one must firt SEEK Him out, "seek His face." Also, "TRUE sincerity and genuineness" are required, not just mouth service. And lastly, He's everywhere so it's not hard at all to find Him! But we need to desire to do more than KNOW Him. We have to EXPERIENCE Him! All the difference in a spiritually dead congregation and those that shout is all the difference in those who know Him and are satisfied with that versus those of us who desire to EXPERIENCE Him! It's just like those who will get in by the skin of their teeth versus those who will have crowns to place at His feet! Experiencing Him for me has opened a whole new realm, but again, we have to desire it. I think God is infinite when it comes to the things He can show us. The key, however, is do we just want to break even with God or do we want to go as far as we can in Him, :)

    Again, excellent post!!

But it all starts with seeking His kingdom AND his righteousness in our own hearts and in our families.

This is an excellent commentary on the state of today's churches.... not all, mind you... but MANY. God is even now, I believe, trying to get His children's attention focused on the fact that all things are coming to an end. And we need to be ready, listening for the trumpet calling us Home; and out of this world and what is going to come on it in the not too distant future.

I know, I know! "Everyone's been saying that for a long time, and it hasn't happened." Okay, you just quoted the Bible, when you said that. So, if you are either not a believer at all, or if you are a 'sleepin' on the church bench believer' it's time to awake and arise; and put on the full armor of God! We're going to be needing it like never before, before too much longer.

    God bless you, all :)
