Where To Find Strength...Starting a God Notebook.
I was given an idea by my friend, Givengrace, to start a notebook on 'God'. What could be better?! I started with collecting scriptures on God being our STRENGTH. I wanted to share the scriptures I found with you because it blessed me SO much! This has helped me find a new focus for my time spent with the Lord in the mornings. I'm making a "God Notebook" where I can easily retrieve my notes on God when I want to be refreshed. I can't wait to get started on the next one. Enjoy!
“GOD” is my strength
the joy of the Lord is your strength. Neh 8:10
The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2
You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed; you have guided them by your strength to your holy abode. Ex 15:13
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. 2 Samuel 22:33
You armed me with strength for battle; you made my adversaries bow at my feet. Sam 22:40

Are you also including in your notebook how some of those verses have impacted you/have been impressed you in regard to particular circumstances?
am going to start keeping one. i love the scriputures you ahve posted here their have blessed me very much.
That is what you call "soul prosperity"....3 John 1:2 .....Devotions in the Word bring intimacy with God.....you can see and hear the heart of God for you! Thanks for sharing...
The God notebook also looks like a great opportunity for scripture study.
That is a fabulous idea--one that I have tentatively started as well, not long ago.
I'm not sure how far I will go with it, though, or what direction it will take.

I have done this off-and-on for almost two years now. It's changed a bit in those two years, but it's a similar concept.
I write down my thoughts about whatever I've decided to focus on reading for the day and maybe what God has shown me recently or even just a little about my life with God lately. I also do prayer journaling in the same place. If you're unfamiliar with that - it's just a place where I write out my prayers. I also keep prayer requests in there. It's nice to go back and read and it's definitely a clear view of "Oh yeah, God definitely answered that prayer for me!"
I call it a Spiritual journal, full of my thought during quiet times and sermon notes i have taken. I started in 2001 in college and have been doing it less since i write things down more online - but I have about 7 or 8 small spirals full of stuff now.
