Christ Didn't Call Us To Live "Safe" Lives!
I've figured out how to embed videos!! So exciting. Anyway I really wanted to share this. Francis Chan is a great teacher, really just sold out for the Gospel and honest in teaching the Word. I've been blessed by his sermons. This one is on/related to a subject that I've been wanting to blog about. Living with an eternal perspective. I actually may have ripped this idea off from another sermon that I've heard by Francis, but hey, he got it from the Bible, and I am gonna take it from the Bible too, so its all good.
For now, I'm going to leave you with just this video. I think that it is powerful, and a good reminder for all of us. I was really compelled when I first saw it. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
God bless.
What do you think? Do you agree with what is being taught here?

Ooh this is one of my fave Francis Chan messages! He's a very gifted speaker and I totally agree with what he's saying here. Thanks for sharing!
I love Francis Chan, I will have to rewatch his stuff soon
This is incredible...well done, well spoken.
i agree w/ this... living in a cloistered "safe" life isn't the way of Christ...
He started out great and then went into a tirade against suburbia. Human and personal tragedy should NEVER be used for a political statement, especial one as inane as an attack on the soccer mom.
This guy is completely nuts. I got 2 minutes into the video and then couldn't listen anymore.
this is so true.
people want to follow jesus but never pick up their cross, and acutally go. they just want God to bless them and have a happy life not a righteous lifeWow, that is really good.... now it's got me thinking....
Wow, thanks for sharing! This is exactly the encouragement I need. I just lept off a cliff for God recently and it has really scary. But this video just put things in perspective.
Hehe, enjoyed the video. Makes me think and reflect now if Ive been living a safe life.. hmmmnn.. nah, Ive had a pretty crazy life, if Ive chosen to go safe lately its cuz Ive already gone thru some things. Entertaining speaker nonetheless.
