Tumor Disappears After Prayer
Naveen Rao raised his hand to his head. He couldn't feel the bulge the size of a lemon anymore. For 20 years he lived with a brain tumor, but now, after the prayer of a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary, Naveen had God to praise for healing him of his pain.Naveen was a laborer. His family depended on him for their provision. He had never paid much attention to the tumor on the back of his head. It was hardly a cause for him to skip work and have his family struggle to find food to eat.
Years had passed, and Naveen continued on with his life, until one day, a sudden rush of pain surged through his head. Day by day, the pain continued to increase, making it impossible for Naveen to work. He stayed at home, hardly capable of doing anything. There wasn't enough money to provide medical treatment, so Naveen endured the suffering.
His hope was dwindling until GFA-supported missionary Pastor Rujul Nayar visited Naveen's home. He told the family about God's love and shared the Gospel. He then invited them to attend a seven-day fasting prayer that was going to take place at his church.
Naveen and his family went the very next day for prayer. It was there that Naveen received healing! When Pastor Rujul's wife shared a vision she had received from God about a person's tumor, Naveen believed he could be healed. He placed his hand on his head and prayed for the Lord to restore him back to complete health. By the time he finished praying, the pain had resided and the tumor had vanished!
Naveen stood amazed at witnessing the power of the one true God. He and his family have since turned from their false religion and now serve Jesus Christ.

Think perhaps this is a joke? Until you experience the healing power of the blood of Jesus, you will never know and will never truly believe. I have experienced it for myself, and seen it work in others. I witnessed a bird come to life after a prayer (in faith), fly to a nearby tree, turn around and look as though to say, thank you. The doctors confirmed what my Lord had told me, that the tumor that had once taken up most of my mom''s left breast was now half of the size it was when the doctors first found it, in only one month.
Every Sabbath I see the living proof of Gods healing resurrecting power in a young man who should have been dead, but now lives, and in a woman who was dead, but now lives.
Prayer is more than a "cop out" for doing something. Prayer is one of the kingdom of God's most potent and powerful spiritual weapons against the spiritual forces of evil and darkness. The forces of evil CANNOT stand against it, if the intercessor (person(s) praying) believes with the faith OF Jesus.
I KNOW His power, I KNOW His love, I live it daily and He lives through me.
He came that we might have LIFE, and have it more abundantly. He removed ALL barriers that would hinder mankind from experiencing life to the fullest extent possible. It is man's doubt and unbelief that restricts him now, and confines him to a boxed up life of less.
All praise, honor and glory to my Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
Do you believe this is possible? Have you seen or experienced miraculous healing through Jesus Christ?

hopefully its known to everyone that prayer a long with doctors are probably the best bet for everyone, and prayer in the sense of a positive mental attitude
my girlfriend is sick a lot and i am constantly praying for her, but it feels like my prayers never get through. she's constantly sick during cold and flu season, literally from around january to may nonstop. i pray and pray but she never gets any better. doctors don't do any help either because they simply don't care about her wellbeing, just their paycheck. it's hard sometimes when i see my prayers do no work at all. at least they work for some people, though.
This happens all of the time. Not necessarily with prayer, but people who have uncurable diseases will overcome them just from hope.
hooray for the placebo effect.
@harmonyminusmelody@xanga - Well, it does seem a little harsh to simply judge that all doctors only care about the paychecks, which isn't true. Depending on your meaning of sick, however, doctors sometimes really do not need to do anything if it is a simple cold (as you have mentioned, she gets sick around cold/flu season). It's common knowledge that you just need alot of vitamin C and rest to get rid of the cold. However, if it is something more serious, then I would doubt the doctors wouldn't do anything anyways. The least they would do is diagnose it and prescribe antibiotics.
@too_pretty_to_die@xanga - Yes... because Tumors just disappear by our own will power... no... sickness, I can believe... but not a tumor.
@jmallory@xanga - i don't see how any other type of disease would be any different. illness is illness.
@too_pretty_to_die@xanga - a tumor is a mass that doesn't just disappear. That is the difference.
Tumors go into remission all the time, with or without prayer.
Thousands of people pray to be healed and die all the same.
Studies have shown there is no statistically-significant correlation between being prayed for and recovering from illness. (Actually, if you know you are being prayed for, there is a small but significant correlation in the opposite direction, by a kind of nocebo effect.)
@jmallory@xanga - then bacteria are organisms that just don't disappear, either.
@harmonyminusmelody@xanga - Take a look at your prayer, take a look at your attitude towards that prayer and God, take a look at her attitude towards that prayer and God, take a look at how your life matches up with how God wants you to live. Naveen Rao, and those who prayed had the faith OF Jesus. They did not doubt. "...He who believes and does not doubt will say to this tree, be uprooted and cast into the sea, and it will be done just as he said." "Claim what is not, as though it already is, and believe it, then expect the manifestation of that healing to come to pass. for it is the will of god that His children be healthy and prosperous, else how can the testify to His love and mercy; how can a dead man testify of Gods healing power? Bind infirmity and the name of her sickness and cast it into dry places, then loose upon her perfect health and complete healing in the name of Jesus. Jesus said that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever we loos on earth is loosed in heaven. This is a PROMISE from God for US to use by the blood of Jesus and the authority in His name. That authority is given to the believer, see Mark 16:15-18.
May God bless you and your girl; may the healing power of His blood permeate her every fiber purging out every inpure unclean thing giving her perfect health and complete healing of mind body spirit and heart, may that blood also strengthen her and give her eternal life in Christ. Amen
@too_pretty_to_die@xanga - a tumor either shirnks or gets cut away. It doesn't go away. This tumor disappeared. They don't do that. In a way... that is almost like saying a mole that you have will just disappear if you think hard enough. It doesn't happen.
@jmallory@xanga -
It was hard for Thomas to believe that Jesus had returned from the dead until he saw with his own eyes. Jesus said "blessed are those who believe WITHOUT seeing." It is hard for us now to believe in story 2000 years old and even older in the old testament. And yet, we readily believe a theory (best "intelligent" guess) written by someone not Christ related written hundreds of years ago. Didn't scientists say that the world was flat, or that man would never reach the moon, or that men had invented all that could possibly be invented?
I know what I have seen and experienced, please do not forget that. I've seen what medicines can do, and I've seen what prayer can do. If ones faith is strong enough, one would never need a doctor, but knowing that our faith was lacking, God gave us doctors who are very good at what they do. We tend to make our own conclusions without any real proof to either side of a story.
I can only give TESTIMONY to what I have experienced or witnessed. Jesus could only give WITNESS to what He had experienced and witnessed, and the same with the original disciples and apostles. If I speak of what I do not know, then what I have stated can be argued against. But what I know is what I KNOW.
I have seen and experienced the glory of God, I have seen and witnessed to power of His Holy Spirit come upon men, I have seen and experienced the healing power of prayer and laying on of hands. I see people who are living proof of these things. Not temporary healings, but permanent. Sickness, disease, injury...demons, devils, principalities, authorities, rulers...all must submit to the name above all names, and that name is Jesus Christ.
you say that these things can happen on their own; what about when the doctor and all of the specialists say that there is no way, and yet God make a way. What about my little 2 1/2 year old girl, who according to the doctors, should not have even been conceived. And yet God made a way.
Believe what you will, I choose to believe the Word of God, for I KNOW the reality of the kingdom of God. I choose to believe what I KNOW to be truth.
May God open your eyes and reveal the truth of the kingdom of God, that you might be a living testimony of His love and power.
@mpwarren@xanga - No... you misunderstood me... I was defending your post.
@jmallory@xanga - Sorry, thank you
Live in Christ, His truth is the real deal.
@spidergrass@xanga - Hope without God is hopless. This is why suicide among the youth of today is on the increase. The hope that they once had is being taken away. I would not want to be in the shoes of whomever steals the hope away from a child of God or even one who would be Gods if not for premature death (spiritual or physical).
Thank you for sharing this-- please continue to share your testimonies!
i really hope this post doesn't cause anyone to forego medical intervention.
Amen, halleluiah! :) Thank you for this post. Praise God for His awesome love & power!!
I have been healed with prayer & God has used me to heal others through prayer also! It is amazing what prayer can do & it is everything you say it is!
Jesus says if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move a mountain with that! Amen!
@MissPixieGlitter@xanga - Jesus put doctors there for a reason, but I believe prayer should always be the first response to illness. It shows we trust God first.
@harmonyminusmelody@xanga - I brelieve God's lack of answer to our prayer is from 1 of 3 things: 1.) we are expecting HIm to do what we want Him to do but His will is best (when we are weak we come to Him more), 2.) your faith is not strong enough, or 3.) God wants to use this for a testimony from your life (or all 3 of them, it could be also)...Don't give up hope!! Hebrews 11:1!
Everything is possible in God, why not? If you want to, we may go to check this out together... But it depends on whether He wants to do it or not... Being a Christian doesn't guarantee you a prosperous life or a life without suffering. Christianity is not like that. But yes, God can heal, He has the power to heal, that's for sure; but whether He has the will to heal or not is His decision. And we have no choice but to respect His decision, not only that we have no right to disrespect Him but disrespecting Him won't do anyone any good. And as we respect His decision, we may come to understand why He decided not to heal someone or even ourselves. If our time really is up, God will not try to lengthen our lives. Everyone has to die one day, it is not like we can always choose where and when and how to die (unless you try playing God and commit suicide)...
Funny that prayer only works a tiny tiny tiny percentage of times compared to conventional and even unconventional medicine.
I wonder, when Allah or some other non-Christian God heals someone by prayer, how do Christians feel about that?
The mind is often tempted to rationalize things such as miracles. When we do this, the joy of seeing a miracle when it happens is reduced so much to the point that oftentimes people will forget it even happened because they don't want to be let down "when God doesn't do it next time".
But miracles do happen. Why they don't happen all the time I have no clue, but in my own crazy life I've seen them time and again. In fact, I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for several miraculous incidents in my past. To those who are cynical, I understand their feelings and felt the same way. It was when I let go of my anger towards God for NOT coming through with a miracle that I finally was released from the bitterness and able to see God do His good things. Bitterness, anger, pride and resentment are all negative lifestyles and I was the embodiment of these things. Heck, getting me out of that junk was a miracle in itself! :)
Sure there are instances like this where miracles happen. But miracles happen without prayer as well.
