this question actually bring out a very new and important issue, does bible discourage virtual relationship?

  • curiousdwk@xanga

I hate to think that this question was posed as a serious question.  But then I would have to say that I hate to think that several confirming responses were serious.  And to think, this is coming from the future of our society.  Lord help us.

....... virginity is lost by breaking the hymen and having sex with someone physically. u cant lose ur virginity through cybersex. srsly r u trying to get featured?

  • getthesensation@xanga

technically, you don't lose your virginity from cyber sex, but it evokes impure thoughts, which is not something you ought to do.  it's not just about technicalities, it's about purity.  if you're a christian, God has called you to live a pure lifestyle.

  • zeeohee@xanga

maybe you can lose your cyber-virginity... :p

@sarah_withanH@xanga - Speaking of minds, but I wonder if you used yours when you quoted blindly from some dictionary, emphasing sexual intercourse as if I somehow had missed the plot. I say blindly because you include the necessity for orgasm. That suggest that you do not even know the literl menton of the the term virginity. Either that or you do not actually checking intended quotes to see if they actually express what you hold.

Of course, the younger one is, the more one is liable to take things literally, but remember, taking things literlally causes serious social and philosophical problems, not least amongst bibliolatrists. It does not help with the poetically minded either. For instance, we talk of virgin snow. Are you suggesting that snow is capable of losing its hymen and having an orgasm?

Check out the synonyms for virginity and see if you can grasp what I was suggesting, m'dear; Maybe next time, you will take time to consider what was meant and to take time to consider your reply. As it is, at the moment, you merely come across as an arrogant, ignorant adolescent who thinks she got something over me when all you do is suggest your lack of English grammar..

  • SarahScannell@xanga

@Lovegrove@xanga - Maybe you don't know this, but "esp." means "especially." Nowhere does the definition say an orgasm is necessary. Perhaps you should reread my comment with this new knowledge. This person is not talking about "virgin snow," they are talking about literal virginity. I am not an "adolescent," but your petty insults and attempts to be patronizing suggest to me that you might be.

Don't challenge me on grammar. If I know anything, it's grammar.
