Do You Sing at Church?
Do you sing in the choir? Do you sing solos? Or do you lip sync in the congregation due to inability to carry a worship tune in a bucket? (*raises hand*)

I sing.
:) and God doesnt care whether or not you sing beautifully, it's all pleasing to his ear :D
yep, i sing in the midst of the crowd.
YES and i love it.
I sing, sometimes solo w/musical instrument, sometimes w/choir, always w/the congregation.
Sometimes I just stand there. Sometimes I sing as quietly as I can. When the notes are too high, I do the last one...
No, I do not.
I always sing because God doesn't care how awful I sound :D
I love to sing :) It's pretty awesome.
Church is the only place I do sing, because I know no-one there, especially God, will judge me. Its a glorious feeling.
Never ,My voice is so bad ...
When I think the song is glorifying to God I sing, but all too often I think the songs my church (and many others) choose to sing are poorly chosen pieces that serve little purpose but to make some songwriter wealthy off of licensing fees (and, of course, CD sales and radio time and concerts).
I sing. I used to not, but my heart changed.
I sing and I pray that no one can hear my horrible voice
I don't go to church anymore (long story), but when I did loved singing. When I was little, I thought that the choir was angels singing because I was too short to see over other people and understand that there was a choir. If I were to start going again, I would still sing.
I sing when I know the lyrics, I lip sync or lower my voice to a whisper when Im not sure of what to say.
I start out with a bit of a quiet meek voice when Im at church cuz Im a bit shy to let other people hear me singing. But as the crowds sing along louder I gain volume lol!!!
My mum once told me that it's better to sing a prayer than to just say it normally. I don't know if that's true, though.Â
I do sing during Mass, but very quietly!
singing is twice praying!
that boy in the picture is cute, also. x]. but i sing a part of the congregation at church.
i remember in my school liturgies [ i went to a catholic high school ], no one in the congregation would sing, and i saw this one classmate of mine among the crowd singing, unashamed. and it was the most inspiring thing since NO ONE was singing around at all besides the small choir itself. and thus, i began to sing as well. singing really does wonders.
For a minute, I thought that was Sanjaya. Anyway, yes I sing in the choir at our Cathedral on some occasions but not in the regular choir at my parish.
I like to sing & praise God. I occasionally sing in choir (usually Christmas).... and sing in fellowship retreats.... otherwise, I like to sing
Singing is so heartfelt. I'm not the best singer, but when I feel led it's a great experience, especially in worship.
I sing, both at my home parish and in the Newman Center at my college. I truly believe that "he who sings prays twice."
Even if you believe you have a bad voice, you should still sing, at least in your congregation. It's all beautiful to God's ears if it is done in his name.
Former choir director here. Wasn't it in Psalms 81:1 where they said Sing to the Lord and all others who can't atleast attempt to make a joyful noise???
I lead worship at church.
I sing in the adult choir and in the youth choir [I'm a leader in the youth].
I sing all the time. What am I talking about?
I am a terrible singer but I sing with my brothers and sisters because I love to praise our G-D and I want to be a part of the body of Christ.
