ROMOT: What's the Farthest You've Traveled From Home?
by revelife crew
It's Friday again, and that means it's time for ROMOT (Revelife Outreach Meet Others Thing)! This is where we encourage everyone to meet each other through comments and friending.
The game: we ask a question, and after you comment, drop by the site of the commenter above you and say hi, friend or sub to them! They'll appreciate that you took the time to drop them a line.
What is the farthest you've ever traveled from home?

I live in UK and I've been to both Hawaii and Hong Kong. I think those are the furthest. :)
I never went to far away.
I'm a nomad. I have not found my home yet
i have lived in nc, texas, and washington and traveled all over the US during those times. so i guess not really that far, 3,000 miles at most :)
South Africa. (Much further than that and you start coming around closer to my home again.)
Northern Indiana. Hopefully that'll change and I'll get to go Haiti in the next few years.
Grenada
the farthest i have gone is to California for two weeks
Not very far. I live in California, and i've been to New York, twice. New York is really great. I love it so much better than California.
I think the farthest away from home I've been has gotta be San Antonio or Chicago, but they're pretty much the same distance by plane ... I think. HAHA.
South: Lima, Peru. East: Budapest. West: Anchorage. North: Toronto.
Arizona, and I live in Illinois
I flew from Chicago to Dublin, Ireland (actually, it was from Louisville, KY to Chicago, then Chicago to Dublin). My first time flying, and I go to Ireland. Lol.
i'm from Portland Oregon and I've gone to Orlando FL and Honduras. For a long period of time I lived in Atlanta GA. Also, Ohio. And Oklahoma lol. Not too impressive.
But, given the believed sized of the Earth in like 100 B.C. I've been EVERYWHERE man. Well, except the world of 100 B.C.
Born in California, live in Europe.
Oh! I've been to Budapest too! So yeah, Hungary is the farthest I've gone. (I live in OK).
I'm originally from Portland Oregon and currently live in Bucharest Romania
I lived in Argentina for a year as a foreign exchange student and while on vacation in the South Pacific I befriended some Tahitians who let me live with them for a couple of weeks.
As a result I speak Spanish well enough to cause an international incident. And I speak French sideways.
New Orleans Baby ! : )
Live in New York, drove to Nashville twice. Not too far, but when you're driving, it feels like it!
12,000 miles one way. I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR SITE. I AND MY GLOBAL TEAMS HAVE BEEN BUSY SEARCHING FOR OBJECTS AROUND THE WORLD, SO WE CAN DELETE GLOBAL WARMING. MY URL: http://www.inventube.com/ooojay/blog/ IF ANY OF YOU WANT TO HELP AND POSSIBLY GET RICH AT THE SAME TIME. THEN DO THIS= http://www.socyberty.com/Activism/First-for-the-Solution-to-Global-Warming.103109 BY DOING THIS OTHERS ARE FINDING GEMS, SILVER, GOLD, COINS, SABER TOOTH TIGER BONES, MAMOTH BONES, A MARBLE TEMPLE, ETC. IN THE SANDS OF TIME. WHAT PEOPLE DONT REALIZE IS THAT SHIPS GO AGROUND AND THEIR LEFT ABANDONDED. ESPECIALLY NEAR ROCKS. ALSO ROCKS. MOST ROCKS ARE FROM INSIDE VOLCANO'S FROM MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO. ONE DRILLED INTO THE ROCK, THEN STUCK DYNAMITE IN AND BLEW IT UP. TOO MUCH DYNAMITE, BUT IT REVEALED RAW DIAMONDS. SOME ARE FROM METEORS. IN THE SANDS OF TIME MAN HAS NEVER TOUCHED AND AT THE SAME TIME MOVES THE SAND FROM THE SEA TO DRY LAND TO LOWER ALL THE OCEANS. 43 OTHER COUNTRIES ARE DOING IT NOW. IF A GROUP COULD AFFORD IT. THEY COULD GET A SMALL SUPPLY SHIP= OLD ONE. GET NEW EQUIPTMENT WHERE ALL YOU NEED IS SUCTION EQUIPTMENT WITH LONG TUBES FROM THE BOAT TO UNDERWATER AND IN THE SAND. AMERICA IS WIDE OPEN, DONT FORGET ABOUT THE SALVAGE LICENSE SO YOU CAN KEEP WHAT YOU FIND. HAVE A NICE DAY. MIKR SCHMITZ
The farthest I've travelled was a 23 hour plane ride to Sydney, Australia for World Youth Day 2008! It was the most amazing trip in my life.
18 Hour Plane Ride From NYC, To China. Multiple Times..
Biked From Brooklyn To Manhatten. 5 Or 6 Miles?
Ran Two Steps.. From My Gate..
Walked God Knows How Far....
I live in Australia, and the furthest I have travelled was to Michigan, USA, two years ago to work at a summer camp for two months. :)
