RevelifeRocks Artist of the Week: Stellar Kart
If anyone reading this is from Phoenix, Arizona you have something in common with this week’s RevelifeRocks Artist of the Week: Pop/punk band Stellar Kart.
Although Stellar Kart is only one of the many bands that have adopted the pop punk genre, along with Hawk Nelson, FM Static and Relient K, they aren’t one of those groups you just brush off and forget. Stellar Kart might sound a bit similar to other bands, but they do what they do splendidly, proving this by winning a Dove Award in 2007 for best Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song.
They dropped their top-selling first album, All Gas, No Brake in 2005 under Word Records, which includes their hit single “Life Is Good”. A year later, they released We Can’t Stand Sitting Down which brought us the tracks “Procrastinating”, “Activate”, and fan-favorite “Me and Jesus.” Most recently they’ve released Expect the Impossible, where they experimented with a different sound…different, yet still wonderful and creative.
However, the guys of Stellar Kart are not only brilliant musicians. They are friendly and likable people in general who adore their fans and have a great sense of humor. Don’t believe me? Just watch this music video for their song “Innocent” from Expect the Impossible. Are you a fan of Stellar Kart?

Stellar Kart is SO GOOD.
My favorite song of theirs is "Hold On."
Yeah! I'm a Stellar Kart fan too! :)
@SomethingAboutKaren@xanga - "Hold On" is also my fave.. It's a very inspiring song.. :)
I like Hold on and Me And Jesus but that's about it.
I've only heard like one song from Stellar Kart actually...never gotten into them much! But I do love Hawk Nelson and Relient K, so maybe I should check these guys out too!
i LOVE Stellar Kart!
Me and Jesus is my ring tone for one of my closest friends
Hm. I guess I don't know too much about this group. I've heard some good things about them though.
They're very liked, but I don't really listen to them. Just a bit too pop/punk for me!
