Okay yeah... Now can we come up with something original? Because I can easily say that I predict "The earth will still go around the sun," but that's kind of boring.
What... no Rapture?
You've got a few of those wrong.
The bible does NOT have all the answers,
and Jesus will only help some people you consider "lost."
It's not that hard to follow, God made his rules clear, but God also has compassion and understanding. Sometimes people need a little faith and little help getting there. But God can also see the future and see who will change their minds, and wouldn't even bother.
God = The Bible
God = All Answers
Therefore
The Bible = All Answers
When I get worried about the future, I do try to remember that God isn't leaving:)
I agree with these predictions!
@dj_frontz@xanga - Your logic doesn't make any sense. You're trying to use a Darapti syllogism, but your conclusion doesn't follow.
I think you meant something more like:
The Bible has all the answers.
God wrote the Bible.
Therefore, God has all the answers.
Even then, though, I wouldn't necessarily agree with you. You'd have to be able to prove the first two (and you can't).
Best New Years post ever.
I have a feeling that your predictions have a very strong probability of coming to pass; I have already given my life as an offering of faith and good-will to seeing that those predictions wil flesh-out a rather serendipitious future.
You know, I really like your post. It was simple, to the point and just points to the faith we have in Christ. But it was so disheartening to read yet another blog today on Revelife that is being tromped on by unbelievers. Sigh.
Any prediction with the word "still" in front of it is not a prediction, haha. But of course, I agree with all of these...
@dj_frontz@xanga - don't throw your logical fallacies at us
@Pcgecko85@xanga - @LadyLibellule@xanga -
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." - John 1:1
Check it up.
praise the Lord indeed, and may the Lord show those unbelievers the way to Him. :]
Here is 10 more:
God will not ease world suffering.
God will not stop the wars.
God will not create 2.5 million jobs.
God will not solve world hunger.
God will not make obama our savior.
God will not stop abortion.
God will not re-roof my house.
God will not keep gas prices below $2.00 a gallon.
God will not pay my child's college tuition this year.
God will not fix my computer the next time it crashes
amen to that!
@dj_frontz@xanga - That's not proof.
@LadyLibellule@xanga - Why that is not proof, you have failed to explain. It says plainly that the Word is God, so as God has all answers, the Word has all answers.
Let's use some mathematical reasoning.
-If A=B and A=C, then B=C.
-If God=Word and God=all answers, then Word=all answers.
-This if-then statement is proven by the verse quoted earlier, John 1:1.
Does it make sense yet?
@MasterShoe11@xanga - Thank you for your reiteration. John 1:1 is in reference to the "Word" becoming Flesh, aka Jesus. If the Word becomes "Jesus," then surely it knows all as God does.
@gefforyt@xanga - Yeah, and He's also not going to give me 8 hours of sleep per night and drop all my meals at my front door and fix all my relationships either.
What's your point?
Nice. No matter what prophetically might happen this year there are still some things that remain true every year..awesome.
Amen!!
@MasterShoe11@xanga - No, it doesn't make sense. Because you can't prove the truth of the Bible using only the Bible. If that were true, then everything in Harry Potter would be true, too, and I could go jump on my broomstick and ride off into the sunset.
Just because you claim that God wrote the Bible doesn't mean it's true... especially if the only evidence for that is in the Bible itself.
