In the morning!
Christmas Eve, but my brother and his wife are coming over today and we'll open theirs today.
We open the presents from my parents on Christmas Eve, and the presents from my grandparents on Christmas morning. And the gifts from everyone else... anywhere before, in between, or after. lol
we do gifts with our kids on christmas eve, and then we open gifts with other family members whenever we can get together with them - which is usually christmas day or whatever other day works around christmas!
Well we did open them on Christmas Eve this year, but I don't know that we have a particular tradition one way or another. Just whatever fits better with our schedule this year
i open them as soon as i receive them
don't have present to open.
Christmas morning, always.
Any other time seems weird to me.
Christmas morning.
Opening them any earlier makes me think, "They're Christmas presents. Not Christmas Eve presents."
christmas day sometime after lunch! :)
Christmas Eve midnight.
neither. it's always been boxing day for me.
Sometime on Christmas day.
On Christmas morning of course.
Christmas day, but it's always late morning/early afternoon when we get to them.
Neither.
the evening of the 24th. where i come from everyone celebrates on the 24th.
This year it was Christmas morning, for the past four years it was on Christmas Eve, because Christmas was to hectic. Thank God it wasn't this year!
Christmas morning for me! If i open them earlier it feels weird to me...and then i'll wake up christmas morning and be like..."I have no presents to open" Lol...But yah, opening them after breakfast, Christmas morning was our family tradition. :D
Christmas Day.
Christmas Day at home from parents and sister, than we get a few more to open from my Nan and Granddad, Great Nan, Uncles and Aunties etc at my Nans and Granddads house (since we have our xmas lunch here).
LOL. Im sorry, I didnt wait for Christmas to open my presents this year.
In Germany the traditional Christmas Celebration is on Christmas Eve. Christ was born at night, right? I guess that's where that comes from. Christmas Eve is the most important night. We go to church in the evening, go home, have a Christmas meal and then celebrate with opening presents and just "being" with each other. Christmas is to hang out together, play with new toys, have a nice meal, meet with extended family.
late night, a little after midnight.
It's a tradition. We usually open one gift on Christmas Eve chosen by our parents and then in the morning once we have all woken up and had breakfast we go into the room with the tree and we sit and pass presents around opening them up.
