Listen and Vote: Make it or Break It?

Listen and Vote: Make it or Break It? - Josh Hughes All of us here at Revelife enjoy sharing new Christian music with each other and helping out rising Christian artists when we can. We recently discovered another up-and-coming musician - everyone, meet Josh Hughes, who actually contributed a couple of posts for us over the summer, before he got signed on to Tate Music Group.

As the son of missionaries, Josh grew up all over the world, attending school in Malaysia, Taiwan, and Alabama, among other places. He's currently based in Virginia, but is preparing to move to Seattle before going on tour during the summer of 2009.

Josh, a self-taught musician, has been writing and performing Christian and secular music since he was in high school. He plays in coffeehouses and for his alma mater, Liberty University. While most of his songs are guitar-based, he enjoys experimenting with mandolins, the piano, and the harmonica.

Here's his track, "Something in the Blood" - give it a listen and let us know what you think. You can listen to some of Josh's other songs on his Reverbnation page and say hello on his Xanga site or his Facebook fan page.  Keep an eye out for his album, which is coming out early next year!

So what do you think of Josh Hughes - make it or break it?
