Worship Songs With Personal Meaning/Sentimental Value

If someone were to ask me what my current favorite worship song were, based on musical quality, I'd probably say "From the Inside Out" by Hillsong United. The lyrics are meaningful, the melody's appealing, and yet - this isn't the worship song that actually means the most to me.

That would be "I Will Offer Up My Life," by Matt Redman. While singing this song all throughout high school, I didn't really care for it, but when I was going through a tough time a couple of years ago, the lyrics, "Lord receive the sacrifice of a broken heart," and "You took all my shame away and defeated my sin/Opened up the gates of heaven and have beckoned me in" really spoke to me.

While I normally find sentimental attachments a little corny, I can't help but feel one with this song as that's also the song my new small group opened with this summer once I came out of my very long spiritual hiatus. Funny how that was the last song that really touched me right before my dry period began, and it was the first song I heard once I started coming out of it. Now, whenever I hear the song in church (or when we sing it in SG), I remember the ways God came through for me even when I didn't believe He would.

Which Christian (or worship) song means the most to you?
