ROMOT: PC or Mac?

Yay! It's Friday again! It's time for our weekly ROMOT (Revelife Outreach Meet Others Thing), where we encourage everyone to meet each other through comments and friending.
Here's how it works - we ask a question, and after you comment, drop by the site of the commenter above you and say hi, friend or sub to them! They'll appreciate that you took the time to drop them a line.

Today's question is: Do you prefer PC or Mac?

I'm on a Mac. :D
i work for a software company and most of our customers are now switching to mac so I guess more and more are hating microsoft because of vista and now they are coming out with version 7 when they are not yet done with all the vista bugs and whatnot.... if i've got the money, i sure will switch to mac in the future. Mac is very user friendly.
PC, simply because I know it much better than a Mac. I tried using a Mac once for photo editing and for some reason, I became as confused as a koala bear with a Rubik's cube.
I'm on PC mode 24/7 --- though I guess it wouldn't hurt to be on mac mode once in awhile (though never tried it).
MACS... MAC MAC MAC... ALL THE WAY...
although most of my life is PC based... sadly...
cept for church... church uses apple like whoa... and i love it...
Mac
Macs. I've owned and used macs for the past ten years or so, and I love them. I've never had one break down, freeze up, or get buggy. They do everything I want them to. Even when I've found a software issue between Microsoft and Apple, all I've ever had to do is find the macware program to make it work. Easy as cake.
PC, I dont think I have ever use a MAC before.
Macs, they work so much better, all the programs run together so smoothly, it's like one great big community working together to accomplish things, and PCs are like a bunch of strangers who hate each other trying to accomplish something and none of them work together well
XPI am a PC (polite christian) not a MAC (mad angry christian). But sometimes I would really like to let my hair down, and become a MAC. I don't know but my son says that MACs don't get computer viruses like the PC does. Something about MAC doesn't divulge it's codes. You got me. I just know how to type. The one smart move I made in high school. Typing class. Now if I had taken spelling----
PC!
I use a pc and have very little experience with mac. It's just is easier to go with the flow and most of what I wanted to do was available on a pc readily.
People's descriptions of the plus side of Macs sounds good though. Maybe someday I'll switch. Who knows? Only God.
I've worked with Macs, and they were nice..but now they won't work well with other things like Yahoo Messenger.
The real trouble with Mac is that they have everything set up in "Garanamal defaults" and you can't get them to custom with your real needs.
So, I am PC all the way, until they do better at working with others, and at playtime =D.
I like them both! don't make me choose!!! :)
I have both... I have a macbook pro and I use OSX for work and photo processing. I use Windows Vista x64 Ultimate for gaming. I also have a dedicated gaming desktop which only runs Windows.
I prefer working on MacOS, and I game on Windows
I like both. But I haven't really used a Mac on a regular basis in ages, at least 5 years. I like the way Mac has all the eye-candy, but PCs all the way for gaming. If I could afford to, I would have both systems in my own office.
Mac. Always and forever.
LINUX
I Love my mac!!!!!! :D
My boyfriend works for Apple (he's a brilliant programmer), so I have been converted and am a proud owner of a Mac. :)
But I still use a PC at work. Because of all the specialized software, and because it's just so standard, we will always have PCs at work.
The only down side to my Mac is that I can't use my favorite photo-editing software, put out by Google. Google needs to get with the program and realize that Mac users want this product. Anyway. haha.
Not a simple answer, but…
Anyone who needs to type lots of Chinese will tell you typing Chinese on a Mac (on MacOS X, not System 9 and older) is horrible. You make all kinds of bizarre typing mistakes because the system won’t let you type fast, and you have to slow down like 10x to type, and you still make (or rather the system will make you make) mistakes that you won’t make on either Windows or Linux because even if you hit all the right keys it still acts strange. The Mac is very unfriendly to Chinese typists and I’d say it’s pretty pathetic.
On Windows the characters in the IME editor are so tiny that everyone need to squish their eyes and even so they won’t see very well what is on the screen. There’s no way to make it bigger. Sad.
Surprisingly, the best system for Chinese typists is LINUX
When I am not typing, I do generally prefer a Mac.
However, Macs (out of the box) are not so great for displaying Chinese. They have high quality fonts but only for Japanese. Windows ’s fonts don’t look too good but at least they are more complete.
So the answer is “it depends”.
mac

i've never tried a mac but my hubby, who is a bonefied computer nerd, wants us to switch to macs in the near future. we'll see. i am really big into graphics with paint shop pro and i am not sure if i want to learn another graphic design type program.
Mac. It's not perfect . . . but it doesn't conspire against me every second of every day. It's nice to work with, runs smoothly, and has a ton of awesome features Windows can't match even when they copy. Mac touchpads=awesomeness in a can. ^^ You can't beat it for multitasking.
Jeeezzz
Bunch of freakin Mac Lovers....
Cmon guys! Games? Hello?
