Casting the Bible Movie: John Malkovich and Halle Berry
Good job, casting directors: according to the stats on last week's Casting the Bible Movie post, Arnold Swarzenegger would play Samson or Goliath, while Angelia Jolie would play Delilah, Deborah, or Jezebel!
It's time to cast another Hollywood movie or two. This time, you need to cast John Malkovich and Halle Berry (though not necessarily in the same film.) Who would they play?
Have fun! Over the weekend, we'll compile the answers to reveal Revelife's casting selections!

Malkovitch should play Judah opposite Halle Berry as Tamar.
Failing that, I could see Halle playing someone Egyptian, such as Hagar, Potiphar's wife, or Moses' adoptive mother. Malkovitch is older but doesn't quite have the look of a patriarch about him--plus I get the feeling that he'd love to play a good villain. Why not cast him as Sisera or Pilate? Or maybe a conflicted character like Joab?
Why Julius Ceasar and Cleopatra of course. No wait, they weren't in the bible. She'd make a great Eve but I think he would have to play either God or the Serpent.
I think Halle Berry would make a good Ruth. John Malkovich could pass as Moses.
John Malchovich as Zacheus and Halle Berry as the woman who poured the entire bottle of fragrance on Jesus feet.
Halle Berry as Esther and John Malkovich as a pharisee.
John as Haman
Halle as Esther.
Halle Berry is obviously the bride from Song of Solomon/Song of Songs.

Malkovich as a weathered prophet. How about Elijah? Halle Berry as Rebekah

John Malkovich = Judas
I think he would be a good Herod and she would be a good queen who raises Moses.
I could see Halle as Hagar first. Second option as Ruth. Third option as Moses' adoptive mom.
John...he kind of has a grizzled, harried look to him. So maybe someone like Judas? Or Elisha (he was the bald one, if I remember right, haha).

Halle Berry- Queen of Sheba
I would cast John Malkovich as a prophet or Noah and Halle Berry as Ruth.
I'm probably the only person who things John Malkovich would make a good Paul. I'm going to agree with Halle Berry as Eve.
