Wow, that's really funny.

I've added a lot of wrong rules over the years, some I didn't realize I was adding. A few of them:

You have to pay for your sins. Jesus forgives you, but you have to do things to really make them go away.

You have to read the Bible every day or you're not a good Christian.

You have to come to God in terror, or He will be mad.

You can't enjoy things too much, or you're sinful and carnal.

You can't get hugs from Abba unless you've atoned for all of the wrong things you've done.

You have to enjoy church, or you're sinning.

You have to take on every ministry opportunity that's offered to you, or else you have to feel really, really bad about declining.

You have to apologize to everyone you've ever looked at wrong, or God won't use you.

You can't relax with God.

The list goes on. The amazing thing is that God's love has taken these lies and demolished them, and He's still doing it!

I've pretty much given up video games.  God poured conviction on my heart and showed me that while strategy games like Age of Empires and Space Empires aren't necessarily bad, they are really not what he wants me to do with my spare time.
