ROMOT: Prayer Requests
It's time for the Revelife Outreach Meet Others Thing! Here's your chance to meet other Revelifers through the comments on this post. I'm sure it's been a busy week for all of us, so let's keep each other in prayer this weekend. First, leave a comment with a prayer request! After you comment, make it a point to pray for the person who commented above you, and then please visit their site and say hello, encourage them, or friend/sub them. They'll appreciate that you took a little time to think about them and wish them well :) And who knows, you might just have a new buddy!
So if you have any friends that are going through a hard time - be sure to include their requests too, or tell them to swing by and join the prayer circle.
So let us know - How can we pray for you?

I have Crohn's Disease (digestive, immune system problem), and it's been very bad for the last couple of weeks. Also, I'm flying home to Florida from Missouri on Monday.
Thanks!
My friend's grandmother just passed away and she is taking it hard, as well as her family. Please pray for them!
Thank you =]
This is a very neat idea! Rec'd.
well this isnt for me but
PLEASE REMEMBER THE GREG LAURIE FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS
Christopher Laurie, son of Pastor Greg Laurie and Cathe Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, died Thursday morning in a car accident in Riverside. A resident of Huntington Beach, Laurie, 33, served as the art director at Harvest Christian Fellowship for the past three years.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Stella, as well as his brother Jonathan. Christopher and his wife are expecting another daughter in November.
Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to Brittany, Stella, Greg, Cathy, and Jonathan, along with everyone personally impacted by Christopher's passing.
One of the youth that I work with, her mother has cancer and is not expected to make it through the year. Please keep their family in your prayers, especially since the daughter is an only child and will also be starting high school in a few weeks.
I just found out a few minutes ago that my grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is not a believer. Please pray for her healing, but above all, that she'd come to trust in Jesus Christ.
My grandmother as well. She had a stroke 2 weeks ago and is recovering. I think physically she's doing better, but I can tell her spirit is broken.
Thanks.
Please pray that I can hang on this weekend to NOT using painkillers as the levels of the back pain I always have at low grade are going up and I've got plans that I can't do if I'm dizzy and can't see straight from the meds. :)
Please pray for my family. The enemy has been running wild with a spirit of discord. also, please pray for my strength in the Lord.
If you could please pray for my best friend. Her parents are going through a bitter separation. Her father is never home and claims that he loves his boat more than his family. He's also been threatening killing himself. Though she's taking things rather well, I still worry about her.
Thank you and God bless.
Peace&love,
Brooke.
I am praying that God will meet every need expressed on this message board. I am praying that the lost will come to know Christ and that the wounded and afflicted will be healed. I am praying that those that are lonely will find comfort in God and that the weak my be strong in Jesus' name.
Much love in Christ

Also, I think this is an absolutely AWESOME idea!
I would like to make a request that we all pray for things to get better financially. Most of us are out there trying to make it in this economy financially. As things are rising, our pay rate is unfortunately still the same, or not high enough. There's many people that need more help than what we are getting. Please pray for this world to be a better place, to allow us to have more freedom and be comfortable with our money flow. Also to give us strength during these hard times. Please let us acknowledge needs from wants.
Thanks for all of your prayers. God Bless America

I guess it can't hurt:
1. Please pray for Rebecca and her family. She recently lost her father. He missed her college graduation by a year.
2. Please pray for my grandmother, who's terribly sick.
3. Please pray for the Ojo family. The wife of Mr. Ojo, and the mother of a 9-year-old and an 11-year old passed away a few days ago.
4. Please pray that God give me some real proof of Christianity.
None of my childhood prayers were ever answered; I hope you have better luck.
Please pray for a friend of mine, who always had a hard time finding God, and now he's actually going to give more of an effort to walk on this journey with God. Please pray that he will keep going and won't stop until he finds Him.
Please pray for my dear friend, who has lost faith in Christ upon entering college. Also, please pray for a group of students from KCM (Korean Christian Missions, a student organization in the University of California system) who are in India, Cambodia, and Ghana, spreading the gospel for a month (they have 2 weeks left). Please pray for their safety and that the holy spirit shows his powers through them.
Thanks much. Please, pray for my army man. His name is Jerry. Just pray, that he comes home safe, to me and our baby girl, who is 6 months old.
For my Family that they will give their lives to Christ. My mom and I are the only ones that are saved.
I'm not a Christian, but my boyfriend is. We're in an extremely unsafe situation at the moment, for a few reasons. We are both very fearful for our safety. There are extremely, extremely dangerous people from my past who have been contacting me lately and we are very scared. I don't know how they got my cell number.
There has also been someone (a father of an ex-friend) who has threatened to harm my boyfriend and I physically. He does not know where we live currently and I hope we can keep it that way.
We've also been having a really hard time financially and we don't know if we're going to be able to pay the rent for August, let alone pay for the utilities and buy food. He's been extremely discouraged and depressed because he cannot find a job (despite recently graduating from college) due to the system in this country that rewards the rich and spits on the poor.
I can't pray for him because I don't believe in god, but I am writing this on his behalf. I know it would be comforting to him to know that people who share his beliefs are praying for him and for his / our current financial situation and our safety.
Please pray for my son Chris, who is a 22 year old struggling with learning disabilities and mental illness and substance abuse. Â He is currently hospitalized, and we are awaiting transfer to somewhere closer to home and for disability services to fall into place for him. Â He has struggled for three years, attempting college, attempting work, attempting the military. Â He needs something to go right in his life, to get much more help with skills, and to come back to his faith, as he has lost all hope.
This is a wonderful idea, BTW.
I want to pray thanksgiving over this summer. God has really blessed me and my family, and I pray that God is proud of the mission I undertake under his command. But pray that I pray... haha. I'm weak in this action, and many know the power of prayer. I hope that he helps me experience the power
Pray for my family please. They're not saved. Thank you :)
Good morning everyone,
I am new here but decided this would be a very good place for me to start. My dad died when he was 33 in 1970 and 3 months later he would have been 34. I was 14 and 2 years later my mom remarried a man from church who was 13 years older than my mom. The way that I have described there courtship and marriage is that it has been like the cherry on top of an ice cream sunday just perfect. They love each other so very much and they both love the Lord very much too. I found out that Virgil Has Multiple Myeloma and that there are many treaments to consider. They go back to the doctor on Monday to find out more and what the doctor recommends. While it is a bit overwhelming they are relieved that there is something they can do for his pain. He got a wheel chair yesterday and are in the process of getting a scooter as well. The pain he has is in his back. So I would ask for prayer for him, them and us his extended family. His name is Virgil and my mom's name is Margaret. Virgil is 85 years old and has very brittle bones along with Macular Degineration and he listens to books on tape. He still has some vision but it it not real good. Thanks for praying.

My family had to leave our church of 15 years because of a lot of internal problems there. Now my parents are pretty much being attacked by the church leadership and being falsely accused of gossip and trying to tear the church apart and all kinds of stupid things, and they're obviously really hurt. They're just trying to move on with their lives and find peace at another church.
I am going through a really ruff time in my life right now. My dad is at home but not a big part of my life at all in the sense that we are like strangers. Money is tight and its hard to stay firm in my relationship with God when I see so much bad in my life. Please pray for peace in my home and that I will learn that only Jesus can give me the peace that I seek.
Thanks
Mikayla
