the last prayer God answered for me was getting grants to pay for a full year at the local community college.
He brought one of my best friends to a saving faith!
He woke me up early enough for me to go running around the neighborhood without having to endure the heat.
sidenote: Does anyone know a good name for a "testimonial" site?
We had an answer to prayer with a friend and their insurance.
He gave me a friend to pray on the phone with today. Hubby's panic about his interview of Monday has me praying with all fervencey. is that a word. God knows, right now we hope with everything in us for an answer to this plea, he wants this job so badly. Age 58 is tough, on top of depression issues.
:) God provided the funds for my mission's trip to Guatemala!
just this past week i didn't get my car impounded when i was pulled over and caught driving without a license. instead the cop told me he was supposed to impound it, but that i should just drive straight home, and not drive again until i had my license. WOW - thank you Jesus!
I asked God to show me that He loved me in ways that might not mean anything to anyone else but me. He did.
@raizhafae@xanga - hey I tried to visit your site and comment, but you have friends lock! Anyway, glad you didn't get your car compounded. I had a similar experience once, and lost my licence over it. God bless!
i got to see God work in an amazing way with the younger teens at my church when he gave me the opportunity to go and visit the camp they were at last night. it was awesome!
an adventure of selling a house in florida ended this week
Got me safely to and from Iraq, and off to the 82nd where I've wanted to be from the beginning of my Army career. Has kept my marriage from biting the dust!!
Honestly, I can't remember.
I pray when i'm tempted. And miraculously, I turn myself back to the Lord and being amazed by HIM.
Well, it's not completely answered, but I've been asking the Lord to provide me with the right job. I have an interview on Monday! YAY!
Nothing fancy, but I lost my Bible for about two weeks and asked God to help me find it and I did. So hey, I guess that counts or something.
He killed her. He actually killed her.
For an eight year old boy who suddenly lost his mom three weeks ago...
He gave me a job and now I might have another job coming up.
He brought someone I really care about back into my life!!
Be very careful, when asking,
He might just let you have it!
but seriously, i believe He is
very open to most requests;
maybe not on any human's
schedual; yet percivere. If
it fits into His Plan, It'll be...
promise; patience is a virtue
"God, give me a cardinal. My own beautiful symbol of your love for me. A cardinal would be perfect!"
Instead, he gave me two shooting stars (amazing! and totally would have missed if I hadn't felt something tugging at me to LOOK UP!) and the next day two beautiful some-kind of birds that I don't know what they are because I'm not really a big bird person, but I do like cardinals.
god helped me get through today... that was definitely a prayer answered... :o)
He helped me to renew my interest in His word today. I didn't realize it until just now. :)
