Wow, we got some awesome comments on yesterday's post, What Does God Look Like!

looks1 alicetheghost commented, "I kid you not when I say that I prayed to Sailor Moon. Impressionably young and an anime freak, it only seemed right to me. It wasn't like I thought of God as a woman, cartoon, or some magic crime fighting heroin from the moon. No no no, God was like Sailor Moon to me because I looked to both equally with admiration and envy."

looks2 lissalinn said, "I guess I always kinda imagined him as being like the adults on the cartoons where you can't see anything from the waist up, he was just a pair of legs and a voice."

[image source: this is "Nanny" from Muppet Babies!]

female Thirdteenhearts noted, "When I pray to God, I pray to a female..."

looks3 amissong imagines God "as a pile of white robes sitting in a giant marble throne"

looks4 droftreeology said, "when i prayed as a little kid, God looked to me like a young man in a tuxedo, much like a butler. He had black hair, all slicked back, and no facial hair. He had a big smile on His face and His arms were both stretched wide amidst clouds." [Sorry, droftreeology, this image is the closest Google Image search could find ]

looks8 busymomd says, "God is the color of water. One can see whatever the water flows over in its own color."

[Image source is from that underwater movie Abyss, which is apparently the only face made of water on the Internet]

looks6 SwordAndSacrifice said,"God looked like my Grandfather. And Jesus. Still does. "

looks7 And Eugenia said that "I would just imagine him a great big ball of white light, too shiny to look at."

[Image source: believe it or not, this is Pikachu's lightning ball smash from "Super Smash Brothers Brawl." Google Image Search can result in the weirdest image sources!]

Okay, so clearly we all picture God differently, particularly as kids. But what about his voice? Does anybody else hear God's voice as a deep booming voice?
